Info
Lesespark is a diploma project that explores, in collaboration with Gyldendal, how digital tools can create more social and engaging reading activities for middle schoolers, ages 13–16.Throughout the project, we have explored how communities and social interaction can motivate participation in reading activities and create new pathways into literature. Lesespark is a collection of three social, digital reading activities built around short literary texts and different forms of interaction. The activities can be used as an introduction to literature, a break from regular classroom teaching, or as a starting point for further work with text. Through vibe-coding and testing on middle schoolers, the activities have been developed and refined based on real classroom experiences. We envision these activities could be integrated into existing learning platforms, such as Gyldendal’s Skolestudio, where teachers can find and implement them in their teaching.
Testing process
All reading activities were designed, tested, and iterated through a rapid prototyping process, using AI-assisted vibe coding tools such as Codex, Claude, and Figma Make to create functional prototypes.
